It is the primary task of the LGA Landesgewerbeanstalt Bavaria (certification company Bavaria) and the TÜV Rheinland (Technical Inspection Association) to examine proofs of safety. If the examination has been passed successfully, the test item is awarded with a corresponding certificate.
In order to receive this certificate, the toner cartridge is analyzed. Limit values for cobalt, nickel, total volatile organic compounds, styrene, benzene and organic tin compounds as specified by the LGA have to be adhered to.
